The C.A. Lawton Co. welcomes Hanover, PA facility as a third iron foundry location
Birmingham, MI – Private equity firm, Oakland Standard Co., is proud to announce the expansion of its specialty metals platform and specifically the iron foundry group. Penn-Mar Castings, a gray-and-ductile iron foundry located in Hanover, Pennsylvania, will operate as the third location of The C.A. Lawton Co.

Lawton provides end-to-end casting solutions, from design inputs and engineering through pattern making, finishing, and machining, at its two current locations in De Pere, Wisconsin, and Minster, Ohio.
Penn-Mar Castings is a Hanover, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of high-quality, multi-cored gray-and-ductile iron castings in sizes ranging from 150 to 5,000 pounds. Their air-set, no-bake molding process produces products for the refrigeration/air conditioning, pump/compressor, and motor/generator industries. This complementary offering greatly enhances the iron segment of the specialty metals platform.
The platform also includes a steel segment featuring Temperform in Novi, Michigan, and Damascus Steel in New Brighton, Pennsylvania.
