Foundry History

Our Minster, Ohio location has a long history with a logistical advantage in a prime manufacturing center. Since our founding in 1896, we have worked hard to source high-quality parts locally and offer wide-ranging engineering and machining services. We currently provide gray and ductile castings up to 45,000 lbs.

Over the generations, our foundry has adapted to many changes. In 2020, we partnered with The C.A. Lawton Co. in De Pere, Wisconsin. Together we have hundreds of years of history, and we’re proving to be a unique powerhouse in the gray iron space. Combined with the rest of The Lawton Standard family of companies, we are the premier supplier-partner where reliability meets flexibility.
